Information we collect

We collect: (a) account information you provide—name, email address, password (hashed); (b) intake and profile answers you enter to prepare your immigration documents; (c) case progress and step-completion data; (d) payment identifiers (processed by Stripe or Paddle—we do not store full card numbers); (e) usage data such as pages visited and features used.

Sensitive personal information (including immigration status, date of birth, and government ID numbers) is encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM before storage.

How we use your information

We use your information solely to provide the AnyPath service: generating immigration documents, tracking your case progress, sending deadline reminders, and providing customer support.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Service providers (processors)

We share your information only with service providers that process data on our behalf: Stripe or Paddle (payment processing), Resend (transactional email), Vercel (hosting and edge delivery), Neon (database hosting), and Anthropic (AI-assisted document drafts). Each processor is contractually obligated to protect your data.

Data retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize personal data within 30 days, except that we retain audit logs for five (5) years as required for legal and compliance purposes.

California residents (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to: (1) know what personal information we collect about you and how it is used; (2) request deletion of your personal information; (3) opt out of the sale of your personal information (we do not sell personal information); (4) non-discrimination for exercising these rights.
