The fast-track route
Cyprus offers an accelerated permanent residence under Regulation 6(2) for non-EU nationals who invest and show secure foreign income.
The real requirements
- A qualifying investment of at least €300,000 — for example a new house/apartment, other real estate, a Cyprus business, or regulated funds
- Secure annual income of at least €50,000 originating from abroad
- A clean criminal record from your country of origin and residence
- A health insurance certificate
The process
- Make the investment and prepare/legalise documents
- File with the Civil Registry and Migration Department (CRMD) with biometrics
- Decision usually within about 2–6 months
- Maintain PR by submitting annual proof that the investment, insurance and clean record are kept
